This is the first complete translation of the New Testament into Eastern Apurímac Quechua, a language spoken in the region of Apurímac in Peru. The translation was made by the nonprofit organization AIDIA, in cooperation with the Bible League International.
It is based on the work of the Apurímac Group, a group of people who have devoted their lives to the study of the indigenous language and the translation of the New Testament into it. The translation was developed by the AIDIA team in collaboration with the Bible League International. It was published by the nonprofit organization AIDIA, in cooperation with the Bible League International.
In order to be able to carry out this project, the team from AIDIA needed to find a qualified translator. The project began in 2011, and the first version of the translation was made available to the public in 2013.
